Physical Therapy

Because physical therapy is an entry point into the health care system for many individuals, the physical therapy program at Wichita State University develops practitioners who can meet this responsibility and provide leadership inside and outside the profession. The Doctor of Physical Therapy degree allows the student to achieve a foundation in liberal arts and sciences as well as to gain an education in the profession of physical therapy. Graduates have the skills and knowledge base necessary to assist them in influencing the quality of physical therapy care, the profession of physical therapy, and health care in the local community and beyond.
