The School of Performing Arts includes the program areas of dance, design and technical theatre, music theatre and theatre (general and performance). The school offers collaborative and extensive training serving the educational needs of students who wish to pursue professional careers in the arts industry as performers, directors, designers, choreographers, technicians, stage managers and educators. The faculty and staff are active as artists as well as teachers and scholars. Dance, theatre, film, audio and musical theatre productions and projects are designed to provide performance, leadership, management and technical experience for degree-bound students, while enriching the arts education of WSU students in the general educational curriculum.
