Certificate in Transportation Electrification
Admission
Students seeking this certificate must be admitted to the Graduate School in a degree program or in nondegree category A status. All Graduate School policies relative to admissions apply. This certificate may be obtained concurrently while pursuing a graduate degree.
Students admitted to the program must have a BS degree in engineering with at least one course in electrical and electronics circuits. The program is also available to students with other degrees that have experience in electrical power or automotive industry. Depending on an individual student's background, some of the certificate courses may require additional prerequisites.
Program Requirements
The certificate requires the completion of 13 credit hours from a selected list of courses. A cumulative graduate grade point average of at least 3.000 must be maintained for all courses comprising the certificate program and no grades below C. In addition to these requirements, students must meet the Graduate School’s requirements in order to earn this certificate.
