General education math and natural sciences course. Provides the basic concepts needed to understand current environmental issues and to evaluate actions students can take as individuals and as part of the larger community. As an informal seminar, it also provides an introduction to college life and resources while giving students an opportunity to interact with a broad range of people and points of view. First-Year Seminars do not meet a divisional requirement in the pre-Fall 2024 WSU General Education program, and can only be used in Bucket 7 for General Education starting Fall 2024.
