The Information Security (InfoSec) team, led by the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), helps decrease risk for the University, protects computing and information assets, and complies with laws, regulations and policies.

Responsibilities include: third party vendor vetting; Banner ERP security; compliance (FERPA, PCI, HIPPA, etc.); data governance; general consulting and advising; identity access management; incident response and prevention; remediation and detection; ITS security training; privacy; reporting; spam reports; various trainings (ITSA, Phishing, HIPPA, etc.); and vulnerability scanning.
