BA in Sport Management

Admission

Prospective students interested in pursuing the Bachelor of Arts in sport management degree must meet all admission requirements by the WSU College of Applied Studies. In addition, they must be aware of program content embedded in SMGT 112.

Program Requirements 

A minimum total of 120 credit hours is required for the BA in sport management and includes the 55 credit hours of major courses that must be completed with a minimum grade point average of 2.000. In addition to meeting the requirements of the WSU General Education Program and the requirements of the College of Applied Studies, students in the BA in sport management degree must take the following courses:

Applied Learning

Students in the Bachelor of Arts in sport management program are required to complete an applied learning or research experience to graduate from this program. The requirement can be met by successfully completing SMGT 447A Internship Sport Management, LEAD 600 Applied Studies Apprenticeship II or LEAD 300 Industry for Prior Learning I.
