Program Requirements

A minimum total of 120 credit hours is required for the BA in English language and literature. The major consists of 34 credit hours, only 3 credits of which may be at the 200 level. In addition to meeting the requirements of the WSU General Education Program and the requirements of the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, students in the BA in English language and literature must complete the distributed coursework as follows:

Applied Learning

Students in the BA in English language and literature program are required to complete an applied learning or research experience to graduate from the program. This requirement can be met by completing ENGL 590 Senior Seminar
