The School of Performing Arts includes the program areas of acting and theatre studies, dance, design and technical theatre, and music theatre. The school offers applied collaborative curriculum and extensive training serving students who wish to pursue professional careers in the arts industry as performers, directors, designers, choreographers, technicians, stage managers and educators. The faculty and staff are active as artists as well as teachers and scholars. Dance, theatre, film, audio and musical theatre productions and projects are designed to provide performance, leadership, management, design and technical experience for degree-bound students, while enriching the arts education of WSU students in the general educational curriculum and through campus productions.
