The acting and theatre studies program at Wichita State University offers two degree concentrations. Interviews for both the acting and theatre concentrations are required for program acceptance. The acting concentration also requires auditions for program acceptance.

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in performing arts – theatre is a highly flexible, interdisciplinary, liberal arts degree that affords students the opportunity to pair a broad education in theatre with other areas of the arts or fields of study such as business, humanities, engineering and more.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in performing arts – acting (speech, movement, voice) is a holistic, professional degree in acting training for the stage, film, television and voiceover along with history, theory and business courses.
