The Information Security (InfoSec) team, led by the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), helps decrease risk for the University, protects computing and information assets, and complies with laws, regulations and policies.

Responsibilities include: third party vendor vetting; compliance (FERPA, PCI, HIPPA, etc.); data governance; general consulting and advising; identity access management; incident response and prevention; remediation and detection; ITS security training; privacy; reporting; spam/phishing reports; various trainings (ITSA, Phishing, HIPPA, etc.); and vulnerability scanning.
